The short answer. Citizens of 68 countries can apply for the Saudi tourist eVisa online. If your nationality is not on the list but you hold a valid US, UK or Schengen visa, you may still qualify; write to us before paying anything and we will tell you. Eligibility is set by Saudi Arabia and can change, so confirm before you travel.

Which passport counts
What matters is the nationality on the passport you travel with, not where you live. A citizen of one of the 68 countries living anywhere in the world can apply. Dual nationals choose the passport they will show at the Saudi border, apply with it, and travel on it; the eVisa is linked to that passport.
Residence in a country on the list does not count by itself. A permanent resident of the United States travelling on a passport from a country that is not listed is not eligible through the list; the visa route below may apply instead.
Visa on arrival
Holders of US, UK and Schengen passports can also get a visa on arrival at Saudi Arabia's main international airports, at a higher fee than the eVisa. Most travellers still choose the eVisa: it costs less, airlines may ask to see a visa before boarding, and anything that needs correcting is corrected at home rather than at an airport counter.
If your nationality is not listed: the visa-holder route
Holders of a valid US, UK or Schengen visa may still be eligible for the tourist eVisa even when their nationality is not on the list. The conditions are set by Saudi Arabia, and we look at each case before you pay anything. Write to info@saudivisavisit.com with:
- your nationality;
- which visa you hold (US, UK or Schengen);
- its expiry date;
- whether you have already used it to enter that country.
We reply, usually within one business day, and tell you whether we can file your application. Nothing is charged until then.
If neither applies
If your nationality is not on the list and you hold none of those visas, we cannot file a tourist eVisa for you. Other Saudi visa types are issued through Saudi embassies and consulates, which we do not handle.
