The short answer. You receive a confirmation email with your reference. A person on our team reviews each passport, each photo and your trip details, and emails you if anything needs fixing. We submit the application to Saudi Arabia, within 72 hours of receiving it complete on the Regular lane or within 24 hours on the Same-day lane. When the eVisa is issued, it arrives by email as an attachment, one file per traveller. Carry it with your passport.
Step 1: the confirmation, within minutes
As soon as your payment goes through, you see a confirmation page and receive an email with the subject "Application received", your reference, the number of travellers and the amount paid. Your reference is SVV- followed by six characters. Keep it: it is the quickest way for us to find your application when you write to us.
The email comes from the saudivisavisit.com Visa Team. If it has not arrived within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then write to us with the email address you used.
Step 2: the review, by a person
A person on our team opens your application and checks:
- that each passport is valid for at least six months after your arrival date;
- that each passport page can be read in full, including the two lines at the bottom;
- the details read from each passport, which we take from the image itself and check against the page, so that nothing is typed wrong;
- that each photo meets the rules: recent, face straight on, plain white background;
- that every traveller, including every child, has their own passport page and photo;
- your dates and your contact details.
If something needs fixing, we email you, say exactly what to send and how, and wait for it. Nothing is submitted until your file is complete. Our handling time starts again when the corrected file arrives.
Step 3: submission to Saudi Arabia
Once the file is complete, we submit your application on the official Saudi platform, handle the medical insurance step and pay the government fee on your behalf. You do not need to do anything at this stage. From this point the fee is not refundable, because the work has been done and the decision now belongs to Saudi Arabia.
Step 4: the decision and your eVisa
Many applications are decided within minutes; some take a few days. When the eVisa is issued, we email it to you with the subject "Your Saudi eVisa" and your reference, one file per traveller. The eVisa is also linked electronically to your passport.
Check the details on each eVisa against the passport as soon as it arrives: the name, the passport number, the dates. If anything differs, write to us the same day.
What to carry when you travel
- The passport you applied with. The eVisa is linked to it.
- The eVisa, printed or on your phone. Airlines may ask to see it at check-in.
The medical insurance that comes with the eVisa is part of the eVisa itself; there is nothing separate to buy for the visa.
If something goes wrong
No confirmation email. Check your spam folder. Then write to info@saudivisavisit.com with the email address and the name you used.
No news after the handling time. Write to us with your reference. We reply, usually within one business day, and tell you where your application stands.
We asked you for a document. Reply as soon as you can. The handling time starts again when the corrected file arrives.
The application was refused. The decision is made solely by the Saudi authorities. We pass on what we are told, and we cannot change the outcome. Under our Terms of Service, the fee is not refundable once an application has been submitted, including when it is refused.
A mistake on the eVisa. Write to us the same day with your reference and a photo of the passport page, and we will tell you what can be done.
Your travel dates changed. Write to us with your reference and the new dates, especially if your application has not yet been submitted.
A new passport. The eVisa is linked to the passport you applied with. Write to us before you travel.
You want to cancel. Before submission, contact our support team. After submission, the fee is not refundable.
Your documents afterwards
Your passport images and photos are uploaded over an encrypted connection, access to them is limited to the team members handling your application, and we share them only as needed to provide the service, as our Privacy Policy explains. We keep them only as long as needed to complete your application and handle any follow-up, then delete them, as described in our Privacy Policy. Keep your own copy of the eVisa; if you lose the email, write to us with your reference and we will send it again.
